How do solar trackers work?
2023-12-08Photovoltaic solar trackers adjust the orientation of solar panels according to the position of the sun in the sky. By keeping the panels perpendicular to the sun, more sunlight hits the solar panel, less light is reflected, more energy is absorbed, and more electricity can be generated.
Solar trackers are divided into single-axis and dual-axis. Single-axis sun trackers rotate on one axis and move back and forth in one direction. Dual-axis trackers are always facing the sun because they can move in two different directions.
fgsmade solar tracker uses multi-point drive to track the sun. Passive trackers move from a compressed gas fluid that is driven to one side or the other. A motor and gear train guide the active solar tracker through a controller that responds to the direction of the sun. Finally, a chronological tracker counteracts Earth's rotation by turning in the opposite direction. Compared with the traditional single drive, the multi-point drive has the advantages of reducing the force on the main shaft, reducing the force on the drive column, and better wind resistance of the system.
The fgsmade solar tracking system has passed the American CPP wind tunnel test, and the intelligent AI algorithm can accurately calculate the rotation angle. Compared with fixed brackets, the power generation efficiency can be increased by 15%-30%.
