Floating photovoltaic installation structure for harsh weather conditions
2023-12-04A Chinese photovoltaic mounting system supplier has developed a structure for floating photovoltaic installations that is said to withstand extremely low temperatures, and can withstand a wind load of 42 meters per second and a snow load of 1 kilonewton per square meter.
The facility uses the MRac G4N installation structure for construction, and its basic version can carry solar panels placed in two rows. A variety of layouts can be provided according to the local conditions of the project and customer requirements, including single-row component design, double-row brackets, and symmetrical and multi-row layouts.
Symmetrical face-to-face arrays are said to be the preferred solution for increasing the installed capacity of photovoltaic projects and maximizing energy production.
The system is suitable for using solar panels with silicon wafer sizes of 182 mm and 210 mm, with an inclination angle of 5 to 15 degrees.
